Network and Services Supervisor - Toronto, ON

We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Network and Services Supervisor for our Toronto, ON location. The Network and Service Supervisor co-ordinates and facilitates the management, adoption and utilization of Information Technology resources within the organization, providing services to the corporate infrastructure and product development areas. Lead IT Department operations, development, and planning, including aspects of software and service development.

Responsibilities :

  • Assess, analyze, and report on capabilities and requirements of the IT infrastructure; provide recommendations and strategies to allow these requirements to be satisfied.
  • Work with senior management and departmental stakeholders to define business and technology requirements and proposals for new product and service implementations.
  • Manage the acquisition, deployment, configuration, and administration of corporate IT assets, including servers, software, and networking assets.
  • Ensure the strategic application of the correct set of technologies by keeping informed of the latest developments in the IT field.
  • Guide and manage the IT project portfolio; working to ensure the primary business objectives set forth by senior management are being addressed and prioritized as necessary.
  • Develop human resource potential of IT team members through evaluation, education, and objective setting.
  • Guide the development, adoption, and implementation of policies and procedures in areas such as architecture, quality assurance, security, disaster recovery, standards and practices.

ALCOLOCK MN is currently looking to fill a Customer Service Representative position for our Eagan, MN location. This position is responsible to coordinate installs and perform services to ensure timely professional service.
Responsibilities :

  • Performs administrative tasks to support the Program Coordinator;
  • Answering telephone inquiries and promoting the ignition interlock program’s products and services;

Firmware (embedded software) Designer - Etobicoke, ON

ACS is currently looking for a permanent, full-time Firmware (embedded software) Designer for our Toronto, Ontario location, to work within a product design/launch with responsibility for design, testing and documentation of firmware for electronic breath alcohol testers.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish design requirements, specifications, block diagrams, test requirements, test plans and test procedures for the firmware as part of the product
  • Develop new operational algorithms
  • Implementation of firmware design, analysis and testing
  • BSP creation for new products from schematic diagrams and chip data sheets
  • Refactor legacy systems with minimal or incomplete documentation

Infrastructure Specialist - Toronto, ON

We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Infrastructure Specialist for our Toronto , ON location. The Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for administering and maintaining the development, QA, Staging and Production environments that hosts our mission-critical business systems.

Responsibilities :

  • Development of procedures as they relate to database maintenance, security, and archiving
  • Maintain availability of the production system and all supporting systems including Development and Test environments
  • Leadership role in recovery of Unix Server, Database (DB2) Server, SQL Server, Websphere Server (i.e. as needed and as part of Disaster Recovery Plan)
  • Understanding infrastructure system parameters, their implications on performance and hoe to best tune them for optimal performance
  • Work with Software Development tem for system ling-term capacity planning, system sizing, software, and hardware recommendations and application/tool upgrades
  • Monitor and Coordinate application/system patches to the Systems/Application Tier in the Production, Development, and Test environments
  • Mentoring and guiding the Sys/DB/Application Support in their work by supporting them and responding to issues raided by them

We are currently looking to fill a permanent, full-time Product Support – Technical positon for our Toronto, Ontario location. The primary responsibilities of the Product Support position is to support the manufacturing processes and to collaborate with R&D to provide technical service provision, working with engineering personnel, manufacturing design and quality personnel, inclusive of customer support and customer communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with R&D during new and existing product start-ups ensuring that all Production readiness requirements are met

HR Administrator - (contract) - Toronto, ON

We are currently looking for a Contract HR Administrator for our Toronto, Ontario location . The responsibility for this position is Corporate Recruitment, assist in administrative duties in the Human Resources department and back up the Receptionist as needed.

Responsibilities:

Recruiting Responsibilities:

  • Posts job advertisements on paid and free job sites as well as Corporate Career website
  • Meet with Managers to discuss recruiting requirements
  • Pre-screen candidates and send resumes to hiring managers
  • Perform telephone interviews on selected candidates
  • Maintain internal applicant tracking system with detailed notes
  • Follow up accordingly with confirmation emails of telephone interview notes to hiring managers
  • Schedule interviews as requested by hiring managers
  • Follow up with Hiring Managers on a regular basis in regard to hiring process
  • Performs reference and background checks on new hires

Clerical Responsibilities:

  • Administrative support to the department as required
  • HR projects as required

Reception Support Responsibilities:

  • Back up reception as needed

Winning Profile:

  • Requires a post secondary education in Human Resources or equivalent experience
  • 1 to 2 years experience in an HR environment, including recruiting, interviewing and maintaining personnel records
  • Some reception experience
  • Excellent command of the English language (spoken & written is essential)
  • Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
  • Resourceful and able to take initiative
  • Good interpersonal relations and resistance to stress
  • Must maintain a professional image at all times
