Assembler (Contract) - Toronto, ON

We are currently looking for a two contract Assemblers for our Toronto, Ontario location, to assemble finished product and or sub-assemblies according to prescribed work instructions.

Responsibilities:

  • Solder and or manually assemble various electronic or mechanical components
  • Install, mount, fasten, align, and adjust parts, components, wiring and harnesses to subassemblies and assemblies using hand and small power tools
  • Check final assembly for functionality, labeling and appearance standards
  • Follow safety rules and company policies

Winning Profile:

  • Demonstrated ability to solder and assemble electronic components at an SMT level required

Electronics Technician –Level 2 - Toronto, ON

We are currently looking for a permanent, two full-time Electronics Technician –Level 2 for our Toronto, Ontario location. This position is responsible to complete category 2 repairs, and assists Level 3 Technicians with training, and technical support.

Responsibilities:

  • Product/component defect analysis and resolution.
  • Component testing and repair/replacement (leaded and SMT) of analog and digital circuits.

IT Help Desk Analyst - Toronto, ON

We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time IT Help Desk Analyst for our Toronto, ON location. The Help Desk Analyst will provide support to end users on a variety of issues. Help Desk identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems, responds to telephone calls, emails, and personnel requests for technical support, tracks and monitors the problem to insure a timely resolution, and also has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical phone support to a diverse group of clients

  • Log all calls to the Help Desk maintaining complete documentation of problem cause, impact and resolution

Regulatory Contracts and Certifications Specialist - Toronto, ON

The primary role of this specialist is to maintain the jurisdictional approvals for breath alcohol testing products and services. Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and review jurisdictional requirements (legislation and regulation) to ensure continuing compliance of breath alcohol testing products and services.

Infrastructure Specialist - Toronto, ON

We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Infrastructure Specialist for our Toronto , ON location. The Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for administering and maintaining the development, QA, Staging and Production environments that hosts our mission-critical business systems.

Responsibilities :

  • Development of procedures as they relate to database maintenance, security, and archiving
  • Maintain availability of the production system and all supporting systems including Development and Test environments

Firmware (embedded software) Designer - Etobicoke, ON

ACS is currently looking for a permanent, full-time Firmware (embedded software) Designer for our Toronto, Ontario location, to work within a product design/launch with responsibility for design, testing and documentation of firmware for electronic breath alcohol testers.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish design requirements, specifications, block diagrams, test requirements, test plans and test procedures for the firmware as part of the product

Customer Service Representative - Eagan, MN

ALCOLOCK USA delivers a line of quality breath alcohol ignition interlock devices (BAIID) that are used in judicial compliance monitoring programs and commercial fleet applications across the United States. ALCOLOCK products and services are relied upon to improve safety on the road.

ALCOLOCK MN is currently looking to fill a Customer Service Representative position for our Eagan, MN location. This position is responsible to coordinate installs and perform services to ensure timely professional service.
Responsibilities :

  • Performs administrative tasks to support the Program Coordinator;
  • Answering telephone inquiries and promoting the ignition interlock program’s products and services;
  • Research, audit and resolve assigned service centre inventories and InterTrack software compliance and usage;
  • Instruct clients on how to use the alcohol interlock device;
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the Enterprise InterTrack Software;
  • Locate and retrieve client records as requested;
  • Receive orders for services, such as installation, monitoring and other related services;
  • Research and resolve complaints to ensure customer retention and satisfaction;
  • Responsible for and assisting with any diagnostic checks on vehicle necessary to download Interlock;
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Strong Inter-Personal Skills to manage both customer and employees;
  • Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a clean Criminal Records Search,clean Driver Records Search, and a clean Drug Test;

Network and Services Supervisor - Toronto, ON

We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Network and Services Supervisor for our Toronto, ON location. The Network and Service Supervisor co-ordinates and facilitates the management, adoption and utilization of Information Technology resources within the organization, providing services to the corporate infrastructure and product development areas. Lead IT Department operations, development, and planning, including aspects of software and service development.

Responsibilities :

  • Assess, analyze, and report on capabilities and requirements of the IT infrastructure; provide recommendations and strategies to allow these requirements to be satisfied.
  • Work with senior management and departmental stakeholders to define business and technology requirements and proposals for new product and service implementations.
  • Manage the acquisition, deployment, configuration, and administration of corporate IT assets, including servers, software, and networking assets.
  • Ensure the strategic application of the correct set of technologies by keeping informed of the latest developments in the IT field.
  • Guide and manage the IT project portfolio; working to ensure the primary business objectives set forth by senior management are being addressed and prioritized as necessary.
  • Develop human resource potential of IT team members through evaluation, education, and objective setting.
  • Guide the development, adoption, and implementation of policies and procedures in areas such as architecture, quality assurance, security, disaster recovery, standards and practices.
  • Contribute to RFP submissions and other external-facing documentation agreements.
  • Manage all aspects of the Data Centre; HVAC, Fire Suppression, UPS, Genset etc. including monitoring and maintenance.
  • Responsible for building security including Access Control Systems and DVR.

  • Must be prepared to operate in a busy, challenging, and demanding environment.

  • University degree or College Diploma required with 3-5 years of related experience.
  • MCSE designation or 3-5 years of solid MS Active Directory experience.
  • CCNA designation or 3-5 years of solid Cisco experience.
  • CCSE designation or 3-5 years of solid Checkpoint experience
  • Strong background in project management and requirements in engineering
  • Familiar with compliance areas such as PCI DSS, PIPEDA, ISO 27001
  • Able to pass MTO contractor security check
  • Vmware experience of 2-3 years in a production environment
  • Key experience in driving IT service management
  • Developing service architecture, design and standards
  • Optimizing operations and support processes
  • Strong leadership skills

Technical Background

  • Strong background in high-level architecture and integration of systems, storage, network, security and voice infrastructures
