The Position

Inventory Control Clerk

Positions Open: 2

Details:

ACS is looking for 2 Inventory Control Clerks to join the Materials department in Toronto, ON. The Inventory Control Clerk will manage the everyday inventory control responsibilities and coordinate the incoming and outgoing process of all materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and fill work orders presented by the Inventory Control Team Lead.
  • Replenish KANBAN bins to support the inventory requirements on the production floor.
  • Ensure material is processed in a FIFO manner.
  • Route components and material from the stockroom to the production floor as required.
  • Track and count inventory stock for warehouse items, kitting, and WIP.
  • Maintain material requirements for internal departments through inventory sign out requests.
  • Perform visual validation of received material and ensure storage in appropriate location.
  • Generate labeling for materials in the stock room and shelve inventory in proper locations.
  • Assist with inventory count procedures on a weekly/monthly/yearly or as required basis.

Winning Profile:

  • High school education.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Previous knowledge in an electronic components industry an asset.
  • Interpersonal skills and data entry skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP B1 as asset.

Working Conditions:

  • During busy periods, employees may be required to work extended hours.
  • Individual will be required to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.

The Position

Mobile Developer – iOS & Android

Details:

The Mobile Developer works with the Product Development team to design, code, test, document and maintain iOS and Android applications for Smart Devices. The Mobile Developer collaborates with Software Developers, QA, and Firmware Engineers to spearhead the mobile development process from inception to launch.

ACS seeks an individual to pioneer a brand new initiative and guide the Product Development team with their expertise in various mobile and cross-platform technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop mobile applications and user interfaces for iOS and Android
  • Design USB host and Bluetooth interfaces for embedded devices
  • Collaborate with IT services to build a client-server internet framework
  • Initiate testing and simulation protocols
  • Produce concise documentation for technical specifications
  • Provide support to manufacturing and field installations

Mandatory Requirements & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 3 to 5 years experience developing and debugging iOS and Android applications

The Shipper/Receiver ensures consistent labeling and packaging for all products in the shipping area. The Shipper/Receiver works with production, inventory control, and purchasing to pick orders and match them with all related documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Pack and unpack skids of products and supplies
  • Prepare products for shipment in a timely fashion
  • Ensure proper labeling for all products.
  • Transport and store equipment in appropriate locations
  • Perform quality checks as required
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and housekeeping standards

The Position

Electronics Technician

Details

We are currently looking for two permanent, full-time Electronics Technicians for our Toronto, Ontario location. This position is responsible to complete category 2 repairs, and assists Level 3 Technicians with training, and technical support.

Responsibilities :

  • Product/component defect analysis and resolution
  • Component testing and repair/replacement (leaded and SMT) of analog and digital circuits.
  • Completion of service reports
  • Working in accordance to our Quality Management System, along with following company safety rules and company policies
  • Ensure that they are following safety rules and company policies.
  • Other duties as required by Production Department Management

Working Conditions :

  • Light assembly work in an electronics environment
  • 40 hours per week, overtime when required

Winning Profile :

  • Electronics Engineering Technology Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years experience specializing in testing, debugging and repair of electronic components or systems
  • Soldering experience
  • Computer literate

Details

We are currently looking for a Call Centre Representative for our Toronto, Ontario office, located minutes away from the Pearson Airport. The Call Centre Representative addresses client concerns and schedules installation appointments to ensure timely and professional services for our ignition interlock program.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer telephone inquiries and promote the alcohol interlock products and services
  • Perform administrative tasks to support the interlock program for multiple jurisdictions
  • Schedule and receive payments for installations, monitoring, resets, removals, etc.
  • Troubleshoot problems and direct them to the appropriate department
  • Research and resolve complaints to ensure customer retention and satisfaction
  • Retrieve client records and complete reports as requested
  • Assist with other call center and administrative duties as required

Automotive Accessory Installer

Details

ALCOLOCK MN is currently looking to fill an Automotive Accessory Installer position for our Eagan, MN location. This position will be responsible to coordinate and conduct alcohol interlock installations, services and service calls (if required) to ensure timely professional service individually or as part of a Service Center team.

Responsibilities:

  • The Automotive Technician is responsible for the daily activity of installation, service and removal policies and procedures at any given location as assigned
  • Performs administrative tasks to support the Program
  • Ensures quotas for service delivery and deadlines are met
  • Familiar with a variety of jurisdictional regulations, practices and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Answering telephone inquiries and promoting the ignition interlock program’s products and services
  • Locate and retrieve client records as required
  • Train and instruct clients on how to use the alcohol interlock device
  • Install, service and remove the alcohol interlock device into clients vehicles following program guidelines
  • Calibrate and monitor device as needed
  • Schedule client appointments within the Application Software as needed
  • Research customer compliance within the program
  • Assist in jurisdictional and other required testing
  • Assist in checking of equipment returns to ensure all data is obtained
  • Other duties as required

Winning Profile:

  • Strong Inter-Personal Skills to manage both customer and employees
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • MECP Certification, ASE Certification or equivalent, an asset
  • Candidate should have 1-3 years experience with installation of car alarm systems and/or remote starters
  • Solid knowledge of automobile electrical systems
  • Ability to read and understand automobile electrical diagrams
  • Familiarity with voltmeters, ammeters, etc is essential
  • Familiar with commonly used software including Microsoft Excel, Word, Email, Internet Browser
  • Problem solving skills which require exercising independent judgment
  • Understanding of Privacy issues
