TORONTO, Friday, March 3, 2017–Alcohol Countermeasure Systems (ACS) revamps their ALCOLAB™ to half of its original size, giving the public the ability to self-administer breath samples with confidence.
The updated model offers a user-friendly, professional-grade solution to venue owners looking for a competitive way to be socially responsible when it comes to drinking and driving. Whether at a bar after work or a restaurant for a celebration, checking sobriety reduces liability for venue owners.
Designed to enhance safety in any setting, the device is fit for public use. The ALCOLAB uses electrochemical sensor technology, the standard for law enforcement breathalyzers. The professional-grade sensor delivers results within 10 seconds and is highly specific to alcohol, ensuring other substances, such as cigarette smoke, dust and humidity will not skew results.
“The ALCOLAB is fast, reliable and fully automated,” noted Felix J.E. Comeau, Chairman and CEO–Alcohol Countermeasure Systems (ACS).
Simply insert a straw into the ALCOLAB port and blow moderately and continuously for five seconds. The user-friendly LED display indicates the user’s BrAC level and the reference limit.
“The ALCOLAB enhances existing safety programs and policies and is designed and manufactured to operate effectively and reliably in a variety of settings, from public locations such as restaurants, casinos and more,” explained Felix J.E. Comeau.
ACS is ISO TS 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 17025 and ISO 14001 certified. Our commitment to safety, quality and customer service defines our industry leadership.
